Triggering specific encounters anywhere in the overworld with AR codes.

Hey folks! So I've been trying to set up a system using a program called voice attack and AR codes in DesMuMe running Pokemon platinum where whenever I say certain words while I'm streaming, it triggers a macro and drags me into a Pokemon battle depending on the word. I've currently got it working with save states, but I'd really like to have happen more naturally so that I'm not thrown back to the beginning of the game whenever I trigger it.

So far I've got:

  • An AR code for setting the next wild encounter based on national dex number
  • An iffy code that sets the encounter rate to "very high"

Now I just need an AR code to make the game think the player is constantly in grass. As I understand it, the player overworld data moves around a lot, so it's been recommended I use a lua script, but I have no idea where to begin with that and I can't find any good documentation on it. Any help would be appreciated.
