I NEED HELP EXPORTING MY PKHEX SAVE EDIT BDSP

Hey, so for swsh i used to use edizon to backup my save, upload it to pkhex and then export it to main save file when i was done. Im using jksv now for bdsp and i backed up my save file. I was able to upload my save file from my sd to pkhex but im not able to export it for some reason? The file type from my backup is BIN and its icon is an "e" however when i go to export my save file from pkhex to the sd it doesnt replace the old one its just added to the folder and its icon is a paper. when i went to restore the edited file it said my data was corrupted, what am i doing wrong? please help

I think this might be what you need.  ilinked to the post specifically. I don't know a lot about cfw so use your own judgement to tell if this seems correct to you. Hope it works, best wishes. 
P.s. you can ignore the part about exporting to OFW if you're not doing that, but the process seems the same.
