Need help for change shiny rate on platinum and RSE/FRLG (French version)

Hi everyone,

i'm a french player so sorry in advance for my english.

I search all around internet how to change shiny rate on Pokémon platinum (french version) and Pokémon RSE/FRLG (french version too).

I know that to change the shiny rate on the platinum version you have to modify an offset (08 28 with 08 being the multiplier for the rate of appearance of the shiny). However, I cannot find the right offset to modify. Can you help me please ?

And for RSE / FRLG can you explain to me how I should do to change the rate of occurrence of shiny? Sincerely thank you in advance.

You can follow this guide but you'll have to actually go to offset 0x79EF0 to find the mighty 08 28. Then to get the highest shiny rate (with this technic) you'll want to change the 08 to FF which is the highest value you can write in hexadecimal on one Byte.
