Mewkid999 Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Okay, I will post some links of reference at the bottom. "I was Surfing and I found this way to get Missingno on Yellow: You can't fight the Gambler by the underground path between Lavender Town and Celedon City for this to work. (There are other trainers this will work with, but I don't know which ones.) Stand right in front of the underground path entrance and then walk down, and QUICKLY press start before the exclamation mark appears above his head. After this, fly to Lavender Town and go into the Pokemon Tower. While there, fight a Channeler (I think it works if you fight a wild Gastly too) and then leave. A tip: you must make sure the Channeler walks to get to you, or the game freezes. Head back to the route where the Gambler was, and the menu will pop up. When you press B to close it, a level 7 MissingNo will appear! This MissingNo may freeze your game when it appears, so save before you do the code. I have a theory that doing a cheat with a similar trainer on gold/silver may bring up a Missingno." Basically you can do that, OR using the extended Mew Trick with certain pokemon stats (I will get those posted) will let you get the yellow MissingNO. Now, there is one website that is no longer up that I originally found a VERY long post that was VERY detailed on that method. I have done both methods, both work. LINKS ---------------------------------------- FIRST METHOD ------ Post: http://www.trsrockin.com/yellowmn.html ------ SECOND METHOD ------ Method: http://www.trsrockin.com/mewtrick.html (Go down to Extended Mew Trick) How to get MissingNO with the trick: http://www.trsrockin.com/hexlist_yellow.html (3TrainerPoke is what happens if you trade M' to Yellow from R/B. If you want MissingNO, go 3/4 the way down oor something and try them all out, NOTE: The special stat modifies the pokemon you get so a cheating device will help, but you can just get MissingNO through your cheating device (GameShark) BUT I have a "Monster Brain" by Pelican Accessories. It allows me to just edit moves, stats, my party, etc. So it helps me with the extended Mew Trick. You can also use this hex list to get other Yellow glitches. There is also a R/B one.) --------------------------------------- -Mew_kid-
