PKHX WONT OPEN

Hello everyone! last night i was able to open pkhx with no issues but today it wont open at all. I restarted my pc and it opened but it crashed right after. at some point after trying over and over it gave me the following message

Exception Details:
System.InvalidOperationException: Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.
   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Control caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous)

I'm not quite sure what this means so if anyone can give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it.
