Incorrectly transferred from previous generation error

Hello,

I used the "Download MGDB" in PKHeX to look a certain Pokemon. I was looking for a shiny rayaquza from a japanese event that started on March 17, 2012.

I found the Pokemon, but when I bring it into Pkhex I get the "incorrectly transferred from previous generation error". I'm extremely new to PKHeX and have no idea how to make this Pokemon legal. Anyone help would be very much appreciated.

Probabily you're trying to import that Rayquaza on a Sword/Shield save file, or in a Blank Sword/Shield Save. Rayquaza is not available in Sword or Shield, then the error pop up.

Try to import Rayquaza in a gen5-7 save file and it should work.

You can also load a Blank save file for a previous generation in PKHeX -> Option -> Settings -> Blank Save Version:
