after pokerus is cured can they be affected again?

I'm wondering because i just finished my gabite ev training and im wondering once its cured can it get it again?

note: i have pokemon that have it in storage

once a pokemon is cured of the pokerus it cannot contract it again. (kinda like chicken pox). the pokerus is cured after a certain period of time, but not if the infected poke is in a box. it will not spread in the box and will only spread if the infected is in your party with non cured pokes. they get it once and thats it. but once they are cured the effect (doubled EV's) persists. a cured poke still gets the EV bonus.
