Help, I am confused at this point

Ok, so I've spent most of my afternoon while I worked researching multiple methods that everyone has posted here but every time I found one that I could possibly use like the bar codes one, or the oot one etc it seems they are no longer valid? Cause they were patched?

Is there any way for someone to link me or tell me a working guide that I can possibly use? would love to try and get some of the pokemon that I'm missing especially event ones.

First of all, they are not barcodes, they are QR codes.

That said, all available methods working or not working are as listed on this website:

TLDR:

If you have no working hax method set up whatsoever:

- If you The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D and either old3DS or new3DS AND you have a Powersaves head over to GBATemp where you can likely find a pre-patched save file to restore to.

- If you a full version (NOT DEMO) of Super Smash Bros 3DS AND new3DS AND a system with some taste of Linux (Ubuntu / etc) you can use Smashbroxhax

- If you meet neither of these you are without homebrew until a new exploit is found
