Gateway Help

Hi, I'm not sure if I am even supposed to be posting this here but anyways... I have recently purchased a Gateway 3DS and have encountered a small problem, when I load up a ROM it is stuck on the 3DS loading screen. Anyone have any thing to fix this? Thanks!

The ROM was not edited in any fashion.
