Will it work, if I pokegen on the 3ds xl and then put my card and save data in the "new" 3ds xl, will the save data now be editted? Thanks in advance. wasney Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 No. It does not work at all on the New 3DS. Do all your editing and such on the old 3DS, verify it all worked, and save in game (to your cartridge).
