Question about ram2sav

So I have both the 3ds xl and the "new" 3ds xl. Will it work, if I pokegen on the 3ds xl and then put my card and save data in the "new" 3ds xl, will the save data now be editted?

No. It does not work at all on the New 3DS. Do all your editing and such on the old 3DS, verify it all worked, and save in game (to your cartridge). You can then take that cartridge and put it into a new 3DS and the edits and such should still be good.
