PID-Generation in general

Hello,

sorry for this post, but PIDs are really bugging me and im looking for help for the different methods. Plz tell me which methods are used for what Pokemons. My assumption (plz copy and edit if something is wrong):

leaving the PID field blank: all Gen 5 Pokemon (also Events (ingame catch events and receive at PokeShop events))

Method 1: all Gen 4 Pokemon (also Events (ingame catch events and receive at PokeShop events))

Method 2: ?

Method 3: ?

Method 4: ?

Method 5: ?

Method 6: ?

Method 7: ?

Method 8: ?

Method 9: ?

Method 10: all Gen 3 Events (also Events (ingame catch events and receive at PokeShop events))

Method 11: ?

Plz copy and edit what is wrong and replace the questionmarks. I'm not exactly sure which method normal Gen 3-Pokemon use.
