From what I've learned, if I trade someone a pokemon, they can use PokeSAV to find out my Secret ID, correct? It would be a big help, thanks. WolfieKoala Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Well, I don't have an AR. And I have looked it up, actually. As far as I know, the only way I can find my secret ID without an AR or PokeSAV is to either catch a non-chained shiney or trade a pokemon to someone who does have an AR or PokeSAV and have them check, which is what I was hoping I could do. I have Pokemon Platinum. The only shiney on here I have is my Sandshrew, but I got it in LeafGreen, so it doesn't work I don't think.
Toffeuy Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 It's possible to determine your SID without using AR. Read this guide. This guide may not be able to determine your exact Secret ID. Your Secret ID will be between the answer you receive and the answer you get +7. So you can request for someone to make seven level 100 pokemon with your TID and one of the SID's for you and trade it to you over wi-fi. And you can test it if you don't have already all badges. If you have all badges or don't have access to Wi-Fi, too bad I can't figure out another possible way.
