PC Error every time..

I've been trying to use Pokegen for breeding purposes (ie, getting a hacked pokemon, breeding it for a real one) but I've been having issues. I've tried a Rufflet, Scyther, Remoraid and Petilil to no avail.

The error I get is when trying to open the box that pokemon is in. The screen goes blue and it tells me an error has occured. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Been following guides and have searched the forum.

I leave the PID blank (iirc, it gets filled out automatically in game) and nickname blank (which I think fills in the default name). I got it to work once with Zorua on my friend's pokemon black, but when I tried on my own pokemon black I get this error.

Want to note that I have double checked the code is for Black, since googling the pokegen pc error brings up that answer a lot.
