PKM file size

I am wondering how to save a PKM file in pokegen as a 236 byte file, the reason being I want to import the Pokemon from pokegen to Grovyle's mystery gift generator to make a gift. I have tried the different save types and can only get the file size to 220 bytes, my understanding is that the pokemon must be saved under the party Pokemon extension but that's as far as I can get. If anyone would care to explain to me how to do this I would be grateful.

Nevermind I figured out my problem, I neglected to change the target game from gen 5 to 4, and that apperently affects the file size. Gen 5's party pokemon file size is 220 bytes wile gen 4 is 236. May I ask a mod to lock this topic so it can still be viewed, people may still find this of interest when trying to use pokegen and the mysterygift editor.
