Crash when I open my PC..

I'm pretty sure I broke my save file, but I thought I'd check here first before making a new one. I made a code for Petilil (I dont have any friends with White, they all got black) and, for some reason, I saved after activating the code. I put the pokemon in slot 1 of box 1, and whenever I try to use my game, it gets an error and I have to restart. I've tried to put other stuff in slot 1 to fix it, but it keeps crashing. Do I need to restart?

EDIT: I fixed it by using a code to delete the box the pokemon was in. I will look harder for that FAQ next time.

Ok, so I found the thread that provides the fix for this issue. I put both codes in, started up my game, pressed select+UP, and it didn't work. I don't mind losing any pokemon in my PC, as my only important ones are in my party. I just really don't want to lose my progress. The pokemon was in box 1. Would deleting box 1 fix it?
