kirstyashleyclay Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I've used Pokegen twice now. I've always thought it was pretty cool to be able to create your own pokemon with your own OT and ID. I first did it for my White Verison. I noticed after that my game would randomly freeze every now and then or go extremely slow to the point I would have to turn it off. If I tired to save it when it was going slow, it would freeze and the date and time would have question marks in it. I always thought it was my DS. I recently have bought Pokemon Black 2 and figured I would try again. I made 5 Pokemon. I got all the actual moves from Serenii.net so I knew what it could actually know, made them All have their proper abilities, all held exp share, but I did make them shiny. After I sent them all to my game, I noticed I started experiencing the same Problems as I did with my White Verison. Today, I tried to play my Game and right when I connect to C Gear, it tells me to turn off my game. I can play it if C Gear is not connected. After hours of trying to figure out the problem, I finally just restarted my game. Upon receiving the C Gear on a complete new file game.. The same message popped up and forced me to restart my game. Now, I tried my Black Verison on C Gear and it worked perfectly fine so it is not my Internet. I'm Not exactly sure what to do at this point. My game was working fine without error until these pokemon were saved. Any help would be great, thanks.
randomspot555 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Even shitty hacks don't inherently corrupt a save file. PokeGen isn't responsible for this, and this isn't the right section anyway. My hunch would be you purchased a bootleg. Either way, this isn't the proper place. "Site discussion" is for site discussion, not discussing how you screwed your save file. On that note, if your save file or game cart is messed up, there's nothing anyone here can magically do. But thousands have used PokeGen without screwing up their saves, so I doubt it is the source of your problem.
