I'm not particularly good at making introductions, but I figured given my rather interesting background, it was probably worth it to make an introductory post rather then just jumping into the forum.

So who am I? Well obviously if you haven't figured it out by my username and avatar, I'm Croc, and I'm beautiful. More importantly, I was also (or should I also say formerly) the mind behind the Twitter account @PokeFacts before it was suspended, which I'm sure that at least a few of you were following. I should point out that after the account got suspended, someone else re-registered the username and mostly just pasted older things I wrote. I don't know who it is, but they're not me, and they don't have my blessing or approval. Just want to make that clear.

There's a long story regarding about why I ended Pokefacts, and I won't lie, it's a pretty weird story and also pretty funny in a few parts, but I'd rather not bore everyone with the massive story on my first post to this website. Maybe I'll make a thread about it in general or open up a Q&A if enough people on the forum are interested. If you guys want, I was also considering maybe holding some trivia in the general section, I guarantee that most of you won't be able to top some of my knowledge.

Anyways, this is getting kind of long, so I'll simply end here. Anyways, Hi.

The short version is that a pretty clever troll filed a DMCA on the account, claiming to be someone from Nintendo and that I was violating copyright laws. I probably would have filed a counter-claim, but I hadn't checked the account in a while to find this out for myself (they did send an email, but I registered pokefacts with a dummy account I never check), and to be fair, I was kinda done with the PokeFacts at that point and figured it wasn't worth the fight to keep an inactive account.

I'm not sure why the username was made available again, though. Usually Twitter won't allow a banned account's username to be used later.
