Game freezes when attempting to load the game after using a wondercard code

I'm sorry in advance but I'm really not incredibly computer-literate. I have read the questions and answers and been through the bugs and a few pages of the forums but could find nothing relating to my problem. I meant Wonder Card in the title, not Mystery Gift. I had just read Mystery Gift when I typed the title and it got stuck in my head

I used a code for an event Keldeo, and have made sure that the target game is Black (the game I am attempting to load the code on). This is the code I am trying to use -

I then put it onto my Action Replay cartridge and try and load it in the game, but when I attempt to load the game the game gets stuck on the white screen before the Pokemon sign comes up. I wondered if there was something I was doing wrong?
