I was wondering if anyone knew if trying to breed for shiny treecko would be easier than SRing @ start for one. I have been sring for about six weeks now ( im at 18,291 SR as of now ) making a new trainer every 150 SR (on my 121st trainer). Thanks in advance for replies.

In Gen 4 and 5, you can breed for one with the Masuda Method.

In Gen 4's HGSS, you can also SR for one when Steven STone gives one to you.

If you want to do something more efficient than breeding, you can always RNG.
