Bidoof Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I'm going to buy a flashcart. But i got some questions. Which flashcart would you recommend? I don't have that much experience on flashcart, but from what i've understand r4 is good? Is it easy to get Pokémon you create in Pokégen to a game? Do you have to use a Pokémon-rom or can you get the Pokémon you create in Pokegen onto a legit, real copy of say Pokemon White? And finally, would a r4 card work just as fine on a 3DS? Thanks!
ReignOfComputer Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I strongly suggest a Supercard DSTwo. It's easy for all flash carts, since you can instantly access the save file directly from the MicroSD. To get Pokemon from PokeGen into a retail game, you're going to need a device that can pull a save data from a retail cartridge (e.g. NDS Adapter Plus), an Action Replay, or you can use a spoofed GTS server. Newer "R4" cards can work fine on a 3DS. The Supercard DSTwo works fine with the latest firmware.
K3tsueki Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I would get a DSTwo if you wanted to go all out and be able to use a lot of homebrew and run GBA games, but if you just want NDS games you can get the cheap Acekard 2i. although depending on where you live they might both be cheap
