Madisson Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Hi, ive finally got these amazing program to work and now i would like to send a folder with some pokemon. As u can see i receive only the first file of the folder and in Shiny GTS i get a "Stack: bei System I.O Path NormalizeFaststring path ... error message. Dont know what this means. Maybe you have got the same thing and can tell me whats wrong. I would really appreciate it! .......... And another Question Ive tried to receive Pokemon from my Ds on Gen 5 and it worked very well! But than ive tried the same with my soul silver. I can connect to the gts but if ive chosen my pokemon to send and set a random Pokemon and press ok i get a communication error. "System.FormatException: Invalid Sign in a Base of .... can't read the end of the error. Hope you know the answer why 5gen work and 4gen not
formlesstree4 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 If you double click the error, it will display the full message. That will give me a bit more information as to what's wrong.
Madisson Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 ok thank you here it is I get Latias and than it's the same like i've send only one Pokemon. "Pfad hat ein ungültiges Format" -> "Path has an unknown Format"
formlesstree4 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 ok thank you here it is I get Latias and than it's the same like i've send only one Pokemon. "Pfad hat ein ungültiges Format" -> "Path has an unknown Format" Apparently the path being fed to it is invalid for some reason. I don't know why that would be; maybe there's an invalid character in the path somewhere?
Madisson Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 I've thought the same so i tried the folder on my desktop first "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Chris\Desktop\Send" The path was maybe to long so i tried to copy it to my second drive "D:\Send" but the results were the same as before same message showed up. No unknown special characters folder path is short and filename isn't to long. Do n;t know but it works with one pokemon and that makes me very happy

I don't know why that would be though; the error doesn't get thrown for weird reasons such as a language difference...
Robs Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Hey guys! You're not the only one^^ I get a FormatException-Error too: "System.FormatException: Ungültige Zeichen in einer Base-64-Zeichenfolge. bei System.Convert.FromBase64String(String s) bei GlobalDistributionServer.HGGTS.asyncReq(Socket sk) bei GlobalDistributionServer.HGGTS.ThreadPoolHandler(Object sock)" A german language problem? Maybe someone solved this already, would be genius Edit: Problem solved: HyperGTS is sending and receiving without failing

Maybe someone solved this already, would be genius Edit: Problem solved: HyperGTS is sending and receiving without failing Your problem is with a truncating or invalid message being sent from the DS, not at all related to the OP's; I'm not sure what's going on there honestly. I'll have to look at the code again to make sure nothing is goofing up.
Madisson Posted May 24, 2011 Author Posted May 24, 2011 How can we solve this Problem? Is it really the german version of the game only? "System.FormatException: Ungültige Zeichen in einer Base-64-Zeichenfolge. "System.FormatException: Invalid Sign in a Base-64-Character String. The only Signs that we could use are ä ö ü ß But i havent used these signs in any of my created Pokemons.
formlesstree4 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Madisson, I don't know. It has to do with the actual encryptions and decryptions of the pokemon...that's all I know
formlesstree4 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I do receive the same error message It's getting an illegal file path. That's all I can make from the error message.
