Fangking Omega Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Hey guys, I have no access to a second DS system at present and was wondering what "Egg Hatched at" location I should use for a Pokémon that hatched from an egg in Sinnoh and was sent over to Unova via the Poké Transfer, and which "Met at Place" location should be used for a Pokémon sent to the Gen V game via the Poké Transfer likewise. (Basically, would the "Met at Place" value still correspond to its Gen IV location, or would it relate to the Poké Transfer location instead)?
ReignOfComputer Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Migrated Pokemon will have their Met Location set to "PokeTransfer". Their 4th Gen location data is removed.
WallyFTW Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 ReignofComputer is correct, the location must be set to PokeTransfer. The "Met" is mainly for how you, personally, met that Pokemon, not how the previous trainer did. So as long as its origin (found in the "Main" tab) is from another possible place, then you should be set.
