Xenotrauma
I have b19, and I'm just trying to edit my existing b/w pokemon save file. I open the save file, change my EVs, hit save... but then when I reload what should be my edited save file, it's reverted to normal. It seems like I'm missing something simple..? I can't make any changes to my save file stick ><;
Acanto
Before saving or doing anything else, right click on your Pokémon's icon in the Box or Party -> Set. Otherwise any change will be reverted to the original data.
Xenotrauma
Yep, that seemed to be it. Thanks I have no idea how I would have known to do that *
Codr
I agree that it isn't intuitive, but at the same time, I don't think it's natural to assume that the data is just being saved without you doing anything.
VetX
I agree with this; as long as you remember to save it yourself, there are no issues. I'd rather it be that way than it auto-saving everything I do.
Xenotrauma
...eh? ^^; Auto-saving? Before I was just making my changes, then hitting file>save. Then I tried file>save as and -manually- overwriting the old file. I was trying pretty hard to get it to save... hehe It was the right click>set BEFORE saving after every change that didn't strike me as intuitive. Codr
It was the right click>set BEFORE saving after every change that didn't strike me as intuitive. Which is exactly what I was referring to. When I said "saved", I was talking about the action that occurs when you "Set" a Pokemon to a slot.
