Tsujin Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 You need to go to the Ilex Forest with Celebi in your FIRST PARTY slot and walk to the Shrine. You'll need cut. Then you should see Lyra and her Marill run up to you and Celebi will automatically Time Travel and the Event will start itself.

Tsujin Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I wouldn't know for sure. Are you still at the beginning of the game? You may have to at least get passed Goldenrod after you defeat Team Rocket at the Radio Tower. I guess if you haven't passed that part then the Celebi Event can't Time Travel back to something that hasn't happened yet. I'd say at least get all the Johto badges or like 6 of them and try.
