Cojirou Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Hey, I'm Cojirou- I've been into Pokemon since RBY, and since DP I've been an on-and-off amateur Pokemon hacker. All the information you guys have posted here has been really helpful to me, so I thought I'd create a forum account. Thanks, and keep up the good work! What I'm really interested in is creating legal Pokemon. Cheap hacks don't really interest me but I do like bypassing the slower methods of raising a good team. I do have one question (if it doesn't belong here, please ignore/direct me to where I may ask this)- I was experimenting with editing TRU Dragonite's IVs, and no matter how much I tried to generate a valid PID (I made sure it was Type 1), the Legality Checker's Type field still came up as a hacked mystery gift. Is the checker not able to process edited event .pkm files properly, or is there no good way of editing Mystery Gift Pokemon events? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, haha. randomspot555 Posted January 13, 2011 Share Posted January 13, 2011 It could be because legality checker hasn't been updated in ages. Events have to be manually updated. Remember, legality check is meant to check hidden stuff. If you, for example ,know the OT ID SID and all that crap are legal, then there's no need to question it.
