.Sav file for Pokesav. Please Help. (:

I just found the pokesav program and I was able to put the pokemon I want into one of the storage boxs.

I made no changes to anything else and then saved the .sav file.

I put the micro sd into the M3 Real Player I use for the DS and when I go to play the game it makes a completely new .sav file.

How do I get it to use the one I made and not make another?

Is your save game's name same with the game's name? it should be exactly the same.

Yeah. I made sure both have the same name.

Hmm If both names are the same, I think there shouldn't be any problem with your game. Try delete both game and SAV file from your micro SD card (don't forget to backup first!), then copy back your game and SAV to the micro SD. If it's not working then maybe there is something wrong with the game.. Or maybe the flashcart..

Btw, what Pokemon game are you playing?

I'm playing Heartgold.

I redid everything and it still just creates a new .sav file.

I even renamed both to just Heartgold

I'm starting to give up.

I feel stupid x_x

I had a space between Heart and Gold on the .sav file and not the game file.

You're welcome. It's okay sometimes I did that too! Anyway, enjoy your game! Don't forget to regularly backup your SAV file because everything can happen with the flashcart
