Greencat Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 fenzo came into a problem with his computer and he used his iPod in the site's IRC. From my understanding, this is what happened: I unplugged and moved my computer to a different area. I moved it, plugged everything back in like normal and while booting it up... my keyboard won't work for more than 5 seconds now. I can't log in now since the keyboard doesn't stay on long enough to enter everything. Basically, everything that uses the USB is dead ATM. Anyone know how fix this? Please help fenzo get online again and fix his keyboard. =<
Minamimoto Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Hmmm...Try shutting everything down again.Unplug everything and plug it back in.Check to see if everything is working. If not, unlpug all UBSs and go back to the old NES methods:blow.I hope this helped! ^^
archanfel Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 dear fenzo have you tried entering in safe mode first if its working even if it was for 5 seconds then it means that the board is fine and the fault is within the wire of the keyboard but if this keeps happening then try the following 1. Disconnect the device from the USB port. 2. Open device manager 3. Double-click the appropriate device category 4. Right-click your USB device, and then click Uninstall 5. Restart your computer. 6. Turn the power back on for the device, if necessary, and then plug the device into the USB port. and if that doesnt solve the problem try installing the sp3 again if you are using XP
