Making a team.

I'm starting with making a team on Pokémon Platinum. I started with the first Pokémon and decided that I want a fire starter Pokémon for that. And now I'm doubting wich one to choose, Typhlosion or Charizard, I already started breeding Charmanders and I got one with really nice IV's:
Charmander
004
HP - 19
Attack - 31
Defend - 31
Speed - 23
Sp. Attack - 31
Sp. Defend - 31

I'm gonna train my team by myself and I'm trying to start with a hatched Pokémon from lvl 1 (legit).

So my question is, Charizard or Typhlosion?

You got a VERY good Charmander, so I'd say go for that ;)

They have the same base stats, however Typhlosion has more and better egg moves (Flare Blitz, Double Edge etc.) and they both learn some pretty serious attacks - especially fire STAB moves!
But now, as i said before, that you've got such a cool charmander, I think i would go for it ;)

I don't get this thread. Obviously, if you're already breeding them, you pick them. No need to come here and show off your charmander. In competitive battling, we all have 31/31/31/31/31 stuff.
