Gen 5 Specific Edits

Generation 5 introduced a variety of new features, such as C-Gear skins, the Dream World, Pokémon World Tournaments, and more. At the time of writing, PKHeX only supports a few of these features, so we need to rely on other tools. This tutorial will guide you through the usage of some of the programs you need. Before you can begin, you will need a way to backup and restore your save file: Once you've found a way to access your save file, you can now start editing Gen 5-specific features: C-Gear (From the Using PKHeX tutorial) Dream World and Entree Forest Pokémon World Tournaments

We have Dream World Pkm files in our Event Gallery; however, if you do not want to use those Pokemon files, but obtain it yourself, these are the steps to do so. Download and launch the Gen V Save Tool Click Load SaveGame Click Entralink Forest ● Unlock Areas If Necessary ● Choose the area you want the Pokemon to appear in ● Select Slot You can Add from the selectors on the top, or add a Pokemon from the previous legal Dream World Maps. We'll use Pleasant Forest for example. ● Choose a Pokemon ● Choose a 4th move (if possible) ● Choose Gender (if possible) ● Click OK when done ● Note: You won't be able to select OK if the game version is incorrect. Once you're done, hit Save and Exit. Click Update Checksums and hit to OK twice. Click Save You're now ready to play!

Importing a PWT file from our gallery can be done with this Tournament Editor by performing the following steps: Download and launch Tournament Editor. Mouse click on Load, and select Save File (the highlight Load below). Select the desired tournament slot. Select Change and choose the desired PWT file. Tick Active if it is not ticked. Now, just Save your save!

PKHeX can import C-Gear skins from our event gallery using these steps: Start PKHeX and load your save file. Open your save file for Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, or White 2 using File -> Open... Click "C-Gear Skin" Click "Import .cbg/.psk" Browse to the skin you want to use. After opening the file, click "Save". Save your save file

0. Make sure to keep a safe backup before you perform any edits. 1. Make sure you already defeated the champion on your B2W2 save, and have access to Black City/White Forest. If you didn't, go ahead and defeat the champion 2. Download the Generation 5 tool. 3. Load up your save in the BW Tool, open the 3DS Link (Dream Radar) tab. 4. In the window, make sure Legit Mode is selected, set Landorus to the first legendary slot, and Save and Exit. 5. Proceed to Update Checksums and go ahead and Save. 6. Proceed to load the save. In the Continue screen > Unova Link > Nintendo 3DS Link 7. Proceed to Receive research data   8. You've received Therian Landorus 9. Once received, fly to Black City/White Forest, and make your way to the Abundant Shrine. You will need Surf and Waterfall to get there, and bring the Therian Landorus. The NPC should be there. (if you're already in the Abundant Shrine, you need to exit and re-enter to reload the area for the NPC to load) 10. Talk to the NPC, receive the Reveal Glass .   The Reveal Glass received works!
