I believe for LGPE the xor needs to be 1 for it to be legal, Ctrl + Click the shiny star to make it so.
This did not work for me.

The title is the bulk of the needed info. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it as the only thing I changed on it (SEVERAL PkHex versions ago) was making it shiny while I still had it in LGPE, and it was counted legal then (yes, I know this probably means it was always illegal, but I know shinies can be obtained from these trades?) At first I assumed it maybe had to do with me being on the previous version of PkHex, so I updated earlier tonight, but I'm still getting the same error.

Yes, ROC's Shiny Melmetal is illegal too. Just keep in mind, Shiny Meltan has had 3 different distribution times in Go, and none have happened in 2018.
Shiny Meltan has only been available twice. Once in early 2019, and once in late 2020.

Real Talk : As a pkhexer, do you REALLY even need HOME to transfer over your previous gen mons ?
.
Frankly the only reason i use it is to get the gift pokemon and maybe complete some of those challenges
Technically you can save your old gen pokemon from your old gen save as a .pk6 or .pk7 file (I am assuming you're talking about 3DS transfers, but you can still save pk1/2/3/4/5 files from your emulator saves) and load it onto your gen 8 pkhx but it wouldnt have a home tracker. You could then just put ll of them in home to get the trackers though and theyd all be unique
Shiny LGPE->HOME->SWSH transfer Alolan Sandshrew says it is unable to match origin encounter

This is unfortunately what I was starting to think, I almost hoped there was something actually wrong with my Sandshrew because then I wouldn't have to wait on an update to potentially "fix" it
