Oldpokeman

I haven't used PKHeX in awhile and now that pokemon home is up and running want to start using it again. The problem is I am using a version from 2018 and I can't seem to find anyway to update other than just installing the latest updated version and deleting the old version. Is there anyway to just update through my original program so I can use the same back up files and such? Sorry total noob here...
