  1. ^ so according to that, even if those PIDs have unique nature, it wont cover all 25 possibilities...

    what about in-game wild?

    so my guess is

    3662173844

    0296319748

    1869760159

    1514722964

    2443836164

    4017276575

are the 6 that you mentioned, while

    1765268040

    1750077865

    4181880690

    3912718920

    3897594281

    2034429810

are the 6 valid in-game wild perfect PID/IV combinations...?

*edit* while on the topic...i can't really see the difference between type1 and type2(Normal NDS vs NonEventNDS), the description implies that in-game legendary will ONLY falls into type1, while in-game wild can fall into either categories... but what about pokemon that was given(starter, porygone@viletsone, eevee, etc)? does those count as wild also(type1 or type2)? roamers(mesprit, cresselia birds)? and event shaymin? which category does those go?

  2. but then again, using the IV-PID generator(not the one integrated with pokesav), specifically option 5...it shows that a given PID can lead to different results

this completely overthrown the assumption that one PID have only one possibility of everything combined(IV, nature, class, type, etc)

simple test done was using 0123456789 as the PID, two possible outcome for a 'Normal D/P or GBA' type(type1 i assume) are 4/25/20/12/25/30 naive class1 and 10/26/10/28/13/30 naive class1

although this might not be a good example, it still shows that there are different outcomes with the same PID...

  3. *edit* legendary in game**

as topic...i've been messing around with the PID-IV generator for a while...while hatched pokemon can safely pass the legal test as the PID would have nothing to do with the IV, most legendary pokemon can't be hatched, and thus giving them a PID with perfect IV and the correct nature(and type) would be close to impossible

these follow results are what i was able to obtain by using the generator:

    1765268040 modest class1

    1750077865 modest class2

    4181880690 modest class1

    3912718920 calm class1

    3897594281 docile class2

    2034429810 timid class1

    3662173844 rash class1

    0296319748 careful class1

    1869760159 lax class2

    1514722964 naive class1

    2443836164 naive class1

    4017276575 hardy class2

these are the ONLY 'legal' PIDs for a perfect-IV type1 or type2 pokemon

the results basically state that it is impossible to get a um...let say, perfect-IV adamant pokemon in the wild (isolated platinum game)

which in a way make sense, since there are 6 different stats for IV ranging for 0-31, 25 different nature, 2 different gender(genderless is not taken into account i believe), 2 possible abilities, 2 colors...

that would be 31^6 * 25 * 2* 2 * 2 = 346681125390625; i might have missed a few factors(in that case it would make that number bigger), but that is already 15 digit, while PIDs are 10 digit only =_=

this might be old news for most of you, but as a newbie that just start to play around with this, can someone confirms that i m in the right direction? - that it might be impossible to create a legal PID given the restrictions(perfect / specific IV, nature, class, and type, etc)
