PKHeX does indeed work for Gen 7 (Sun/Moon). You can use it as long as you've access to your save. If you don't already, the best way to get started is to get CFW on your 3DS. See this guide on getting CFW, and this guide on what to do after regarding your saves.

I'm the newest here, I just joined the community.

I'd like to use pkhex to make pkmns that I'll use for competitive wi-fi battle. I have the latest version pkhex. I have a few questions.

1. Does pkhex work for pkmn Sun?

2. With what types of device is pkhex compatible? (ex: 3ds, 2ds, 3ds LL etc...)

3. If you guys know a good tutorial of the usage of pkhex on a physical pkmn Sun chip, please give me the link.
