It works! Thank you | M | for the prompt responses!
-
I do not take credit for the files, just simply re-uploading for those having trouble. Click here for PCEdit (I named PCDumper) Have fun and hope this helps!
Thank you for this! Will be sure to update you
-
Yes, yes it is. I can upload mine.
That would be awesome. Thank you sir.
-
It needs to be shown as yours. Pokebank it and get it back out then try.
The new upload is a problem. It doesnt have the files I have from when he first posted this
I looked back in this thread. The old upload is dead right? The mediafire link one?
-
No, Im referring to PCEdit (I named my folder PCDumper) because Im using the version of PKHeX that was released when OR/AS came out.
I'm using the upload that was in the first post. Is this the problem?
-
Are you using his first upload or his newest? I have his first upload. That might be the difference. BTW cannot see the picture.
You're referring to PKHeX right? I am using the newest one (01-25-15).

Do you see a file named pcdata to savefile in your folder?
I do not. All I see are the following files: pcdata.bin, pcin.bin & pcout.bin. Here's the picture
-
You dont drag the pcdata.bin to PKHeX, you run pcdata to savefile (which is a batch file aka command prompt execution) and then drag the file named savefile into PKHeX. To get it back into the pcdata.bin file, run the savefile to pcdata batch file after all the edits then go back to the pcin website.
Apologies. I got lost when you mentioned command prompt execution. Would you be so kind to explain how to run pcdata to savefile and vice-versa?

Hi guys, I'm stuck at Step 8. My PKHeX program is saying that the pcdata.bin file is unsupported. Any help? I attached an image that shows what I'm seeing.

Odd. So you manually deleted the injectiondebug without re-adding the code.bin file? I did it like 9 times just to make sure, and it's only worked when I've had the file. The only time it works without it is if I delete the code.bin, the injectiondebug.bin, and pokemon.ekx and re-add code.bin and pokemon.ekx and start fresh. But afterwards, the injectiondebug appears and just stays there.
Yes. I honestly can't say what it is
-
Y'all do realize this is the placebo effect, and that injectiondebug.bin does literally nothing for the program because it is write-only, yeah?
I posted my source in the OP...
In that case, thank you any way SciresM. You are freaking awesome.
-
Weird...I just tried it without the injectiondebug.bin file and it worked also. Unfortunately, I don't have the expertise to delve into the issue further. Sorry guys.
-
If that is mine, the OP used that file to extract my SID. Are you sure it would not cause complications with someone else's save file?
I see I see...in that case, my file is working fine. Backed up with PS just in case too though.
-
Guys for me it works even without the injectiondebug.bin file, so I don't know what you are all crying about..
Yeah I don't know. It started working for me after I put the injectiondebug.bin file on the root.
-
I am not having trouble with the .ekx file, I just won't get the injectiondebug.bin file
Download here: https://mega.co.nz/#!MlY3iIQJ!j9two50cHBctCpssubvVGJlXiL6LzFqhTDV0ZcsRqLg
The link was provided by another user earlier on in the thread. Credit goes to him. Download that and put onto the root along with the other two files.

So after 30 minutes, I got it to work. First time I tried I got a bad egg, turns out the save file was named pokemon.ekx.pk6. The next few tries, I got nothin', not even eggs. I cleared cookies/history everything. Wasn't even gettiing the debuginjection. So I ended up just completely making a new pokemon file on PKHeX, saved it as 'pokemon.ekx' under 'All Files', re-added both that and the code.bin file. I don't know if this matters since it worked for quite a bunch of people already but what I did different was...
1.) Open the game
2.) Open your boxes, switch to any box other than Box 1
3.) Go to your Home page while you're still on that box (not box 1, do not exit your boxes either) this is the only thing I tried differently and turns out it worked
4.) Open your camera and scan the QR code http://i.imgur.com/Xsv1bLx.png
5.) It's going to say failed to load things on this page but just wait, it's supposed to crash with a pop-up, just click ok
6.) Resume your game and just switch back to Box 1, and you should have it.
If anything, I'm on 9.4 on a regular 3DS.
As to how PKHeX works, I have no idea as I've never used it, I just picked a pokemon and saved it. Although after playing with it a few times, the only thing I'm curious is how to figure out the SID? Pretty sure I saw someone being able to read their SID from the injectiondebug file so if someone could help me out with that, that would be great. My file's right here https://mega.co.nz/#!O1kC2RAY!q7WNoA9zh3YOkvpZhiQfXj6u5Uu_wx1KQuOlyGRiUfg
A question that may have been asked already, is it required to delete the injectiondebug file after each successful attempt?
I left the injectiondebug.bin file on the root of the SD after each genning. Seems to be ok?
-
That didn't even work for me
Prior to that, I had to redownload the revised PKHeX with the option of saving the extension as "All files." Did you do this?
-
Yes I did. I downloaded the injectiondebug.bin file that was provided earlier in this thread!
-
Made this account not too long ago, but not active. Logged in just to say that it worked after a few attempts. I had to get the injectiondebug.bin file onto the root in addition to the code.bin and pokemon.ekx files. It works now! Thanks so much!
