Hmm...can you use a north american credit card to buy the games for a JPN 3ds? Or would you have to go through another route?
I'd be interested in sharing the wondercard.

Anyone having trouble keeping the changes they made to the "main" file when they enter the game on the 3DS?
I've never had this issue with the old version of AS.
-
To reiterate since the question wasn't directly answered.
If your save is corrupted and you want to restore it through cyber gadget, be sure to use the original Japanese software, not the English modded version!
-
Be aware that clicking the "Fill Dex" button to fill up your Pokedex and saving the game may corrupt your save.
Happened to me. The only safe way I know, through PkHex, is to manually put a check in the box beside "Obtained".

Getting some weird stuff in Box data report when editing an Alpha Sapphire save.

Forum announcements that announce current things would be nice

I'm getting this error when I try to save.
It's after I tried editing an oras pokemon

Will MAX O-Powers ever work? They are greyed out in my game.

The cyber gadget translated program seems to randomly just not open in my PC (Windows 7, all updates SP1).
After the initial screen where you have to press "OK" nothing loads. Under task manager, I do see that the 3DSSaveEditor.exe process is there.
Is there anything I can do to make the program work consistently?

That's not entirely true. The more people that have a decrypted save, the more likely it is one of those people finds a way to reencrypt, and therefore (literally?) crack the code.
Anyways, I'd love to do a video on decrypting your X/Y save but for the fact I've never done any tutorial ever.
So why not make a video showing that you have re-encrypted the game on your modded 3ds. Or write steps to modding the 3ds (way you did it) and being able to reencrypt a save

If we want to recreate pokemon from some of the old games and friend, like Firered for example, would a the implementation of a legit be possible. The reason for this being that I can't locally trade pokemon and I've created a few gen 3 pokemon seemingly following all the rules, but not being able to trade over wifi. Gen IV/V hardly ever give me trouble.

Will it be possible to run Cybergadget offline at any time in the future, or use the editing bits of the program offline?
Is it impossible?

Interesting, my game is updated(Ver. 1.2) but it works fine.
How very strange. It was mostly speculation. There's also speculation that all carts (Japanese ones) aren't supported yet by CGSE.

That has been answered to death...
If you got a new JP game, then yes, you need a JP 3DS. When you buy one, you can get it bundled with Smash Bros. 4 3DS as well (coming out this week). Importing has more perks than just this cheat method.
Yea but apparently, if you have bought a new X/Y game recently, they will already be patched with the 1.1/1.2 patches and aren't detected by the CGSE. As is the case for my game.
I've progressed past the pokedex and still no detection.

try to buy carts that are as old as possible
Would you or anyone else know where to get the used cartridges?
All places online are selling them new, and used amazon games have no dates
-
Yea, I keep getting the same error myself.
I did buy the game recently, but I don't know how to make it not use the new patch.

Apologies. I posted in the thread asking for help

Do you receive the Pokemon from the pokecenter like Gen 6 after you scan them?
