So I've been reading a lot of posts about this but I can't seem to find any posts explaining why both (or if both) are needed. I have SS and if I load just the PCD file, I get the wondercard and the gift in the game from the poke mart guy. However, if I just use PGT I get a blank wondercard. If I use both (meaning first slot in pokegen is PCD and second slot is PGT), the effect seems to be the same as just using PCD by itself.
I don't understand why this is because what I've read says that PCD is just the card and PGT is the gift but I'm getting the gift fine without the PGT. I want to make sure I'm doing this right before I switch from testing on an emulator and move on to making the AR code for my DS SS.
