Ok, so I'm relatively new to the hacking aspect of pokemon, and I am hoping to do gen 4 stuff, since not many people seem to do that. I have figured out where the TMs are to edit those, but I can't figure out exactly how or where the move-tutors are to be edited. My thought process with finding the tutors was as follows: I looked for the TMs in arm9.bin by searching for the hex of the first 3 tm moves: 080151016001. It's around 0x0F0B0. So, naturally I just kind searched for move tutor moves in the same way. Serebii lists the moves from the Route 212 tutor in alphabetical order, so that would be Air Cutter, Dive: 3A012301. Nowhere to be found, anywhere. If you look at the menu in the game, the order is not alphabetical, rather it's in some strange weirdo order. I tried that too. Dive, Fury Cutter: 2301D200, nothing to be found. I have very limited knowledge of RAM-based stuff, and that's my best guess as to where this could be hiding. If anyone can help me with this mess, I'd be greatly appreciative.
