Turns out i didn't have the destiny knot on my ditto, oops anyways every thing worked out now that i fixed it. i now have 3 honedges with 31 ivs in everything but speed. you can lock this thread

So i'm trying to breed a brave honedge with perfect ivs in attack, def, special def and hp. i wont be using special attack and i dont care what the speed is because going second is better if im using shadow claw or if i go with shadow tag it's priority.

The current parents are a ditto with 6 perfect ivs holding destiny knot and a brave honedge holding everstone and has three perfect ivs hp, atk, sp atk.

So far when i check the off spring of the 50 i've bred so far they all have 3 or less perfect ivs and so far among the ones with 3 ivs none were in a more favorable combination then hp, attack and sp attack.

What is the probability of me getting a honedge with 4 or 5 perfect ivs with these parents.

I would think it would be 6 perfect ivs + 3 perfect ivs/12

so 9/12 chance that a perfect iv gets picked by destiny knot then raise that to the 4th power for 4 perfect ivs and to the 5th for 5 perfect ivs

(9/12)^4 getting me a 31.64% chance

(9/12)^5 getting me a 23.73% chance

is my math wrong i'm not that great at probability.

Also is it guranteed that the destiny knot will pass on 5 ivs from the parents or is it up to 5 of the parents ivs will be passed on?

Hi i was planning to make a rom of my pokemon soul silver version and play it on Desmume. My questions are:

Can you continue your adventure after you beat the elite four?

Can you put your current saved file onto a flashcart?

Can you trade Pokemon Off of a flashcart or transfer them forward to black/white at the transfer lab?

The reason i want to be able to play on an emulator is mainly for videos and the ability to play on my laptop and not worry about having another electronic device to worry about while traveling. Thanks for the Answers.

Also i'm considering getting a new flashcart, i was thinking of getting Supercard DSTwo from Dsflashcart.com is that a good option? it seems to have a lot of cool features.

Hey I have 1 last question, Out of all the Gen 5 English pokemon i downloaded (10) The liberty pass and Dark Explorer Darkrai didn't work, I found a working Liberty pass code already Generated and it worked fine, but still having issues with Darkrai. If anyone could post a Dark Explorer Darkrai code (White version English) that worked for them that would be appreciated.

Thanks! Can't believe i missed that, the black/white 2 setting corrupted my pokemon box lol >.< but its working great now. Meh, I kinda wanted to start over anyway, and now that i can easily get all gen 4/5 event pokemon rebuilding my collection will be easy! Going to be replaying gen 3-5 importing my whole collection to 5 then have it ready to import to gen 6!

After not picking up Pokemon for a few months or so i realized i missed some event pokemon/ wonder cards. I started to browse online for ar codes and found the Pokegen and the Generation V event gallery.

I downloaded the PGF for the shiny vgc 2012 Larvitar( http://projectpokemon.org/events/en-V.php ), opened up Pokegen went to tools-> Mystery Gift then hit open, selected the Larvitar PGF, hit the "<" while having slot 3 selected (I only have 2 wonder cards) then i closed Mystery Gifts window and went to Tools -> Code Generator Selected: White, English, put the activation button as "A, Select", checked the box "Mystery Gifts" Then i pressed "Generate" and a drop down Menu with the text "Used Wonder Card IDs" appeared. I hit the drop down and hit "Wonder card 3" and copy and pasted that code into my Pokemon White codes in Action Replay Code Manager and updated my Action Replay DS. I activated the code, started the game, stood outside the Pokemon Center hit "Select A" (at the same time) pressed x to open the menu and once more to close it and walked in the pokemon center where no delivery Man was there. Tried this multiple times.

Can anyone help me?
