he probably is using a windows emulator or he edits it on a different computer running windows.

Try using the latest SVN version, DeSmuME SVN r4749.

I have a pokemon black 2 rom and save file but after the intro of mom coming home the screen goes black and I can't play. can anyone help me with this? here's how I got the .sav file to after mom coming home intro: open .sav file: file>import backup memory>.sav>AUTO (ADVASsCE database)>ok. it will only work if I do it that way. cant upload file...don't know why
