I will try to upload a newer version of my Donphan.
I am making this Donphan with BW as the target game.
Why would my file be corrupted though...all I did was fill in some boxes and then save the pokemon from the tabs as a pkm file...puzzling
Met
Game: Black/White
Location: Day-Care Couple (G4)
Ball: Poke Ball
Level:25
As Egg: Ticked
Game: Black/White
Location: (poketransfer)

I'm getting really confused right now I can't tell if I should check the obtained as egg thing and fill out the egg boxes, since in game you cant transfer eggs. I just left the met thing as poke transfer lab. Someone check this out for legality please (I did want to avoid this).
If I randomly change the trainer id, secret id, gender of ot and ot name to some combination (to make it look like it's not mine), will it be legal?

I know that in a Gen 5 game the only extra byte that is commonly seen is the 42 one for dw ability to over write the normal ability, but meh, I thought the hidden hex from plat and hgss carried over or something
hatch location, i dont see a Poketransfer exactly, only poke transfer lab.
So the PID bit means if I was to generate a pokemon that is hatched or caught or whatever in gen 5, i can just spam some ivs, natures genders and abilities, and then in the end save the pokemon as a pkm file, and pokegen just automatically generates a gen 5 legal pid for me like the instructions say eh?

I want to generate a BRED Donphan that seems like it was transferred from a Gen 4 game.
I want to do this in the Black and White mode of Pokegen.
In Gen 4, PID was related to IVs and Natures. In Gen 5, Pid is not. Therefore, if I used the PID finder in the Gen 5 mode of Pokegen, to generate a PID for a pokemon that originated from Gen 4, will this PID be illegal? In the Gen 5 PID finder, it seems as if the finder still accounts for IVs and Natures when finding PIDs. This bit is confusing.
In the "Met" tab, I am assuming it goes:
Location: Poke Transfer Lab
Ball: The ball that the transferred Pokemon was supposedly caught in, in Gen 4.
Level: The level at which the pokemon was transferred to Gen 5 through the lab.
Date: The date when the Pokemon was transferred
Encounter: Egg/Pal Park...
As egg: So what do I put here? Is this only for Pokemon that were gotten as eggs and hatched in Gen 5? If my Pokemon was gotten as an egg and then hatched and then transferred, this is to be left untouched?
Ot/Misc
-So for all this trainer information, what do I enter if I don't know a correct combination from the trainer that I supposedly got the transferred Pokemon from?
-The extra bytes, they were used in Gen 4 for various conditions. When the pokemon was transferred to Gen 5, does this mean I do not have to change any of these values?

Do you know anyone that can help me with the trash bytes part in the nick name?
Or, I could try and get a legal Nickname with trashbytes for a Donphan by doing this, so see if this works:
-Download the Leaf Green Donphan from pkmdb
-Set Pokegen to D/P/Pt/HGSS
-Pretend that the Donphan was taught stealth rocks, EQ, rapid spin and toxic in one of those games
-Use the PID finder to find a Gen 4 PID that is appropriate for the IVs, nature, and gender that I want.
-Save the PKM (just in case)
-Now set Pokegen to Black/White
-Since the Donphan does not seem like it was gotten as an egg in Leaf Green, All I change now is the met location, which should be (poketranster).
-I now have a Legal Donphan that has had a long travel through time and knows stealth rocks?
Oh yea, since Pokegen doesnt have a park ball option, in the Diamond mode of Pokegen, the Donphan, which was caught in Pal Park, was supposedly in an Ultra Ball. What can I do about this?
