  1. This comment is probably long overdue, but is there a reason why Hilbert's sprite isnt included in the "special trainers" list, whilst Hilda's is? Id really love to make a vs. Hilbert battle. Im not sure if his sprite just hasnt been found/is even in the game, or if it was just mistakenly left out.

    Edit: I suppose i should also ask whether or not its possible for Nate and Rosa's sprites to be part of the special trainers list/usable.

  2. Can anyone please tell me what are the Unknown Values in the Trainer info (the one at the bottom left) that correspond with each type of battle (rotation, double, etc)?

    Is it true that some trainer class are not compatible with some types of battle (lass with doubles for example)?

    From what i know, for the unkown values in trainer info:

    Triple:135

    Rotation:7

    Double:129

    Oh and im not sure if its different for each individual trainer or just their trainer class but apparently hikers lose text when made into double battle (Tested with Hiker Lois),and as what i hear from previous posts so do the Lass trainer class.

Hi, im trying to use the battle sprite editor and when i import the image it scrambles the pixels and stuff, i know you've said its because it needs to be less then 16 colors, but i've been trying constantly for LONG periods of times a day to trim the edited sprites to 16 colors and everytime i count the colors and it appears less than 16 or exactly 16 i still get the messed up image. Any suggestions?

    i've looked carefully at all shades of all colors im aware of but if anyone can find any reason they wont work...:

    Hmm, sorry for having u look into this bug so much, but for now it seems the problem has been fixed for me.

    After taking a break with this wild pokemon editor i decided to work some more with Kazo's trainer editor and it was giving me the same pop up error, i decided to extract a new 2.narc+3.narc file for Kazo's Trainer editor in order to fix a mistake i had made and instead, when i edited the new 2+3.narcs, i no longer had the error. I then tried the same with the 6.narc needed for this wild pokemon editor and it seemed to work, i no longer get the pop up and everything seems to be showing up correctly! :D. Lol. I came to a conclusion that maybe the extraction of the narc files somehow extracted with an error, or interrupted and thats why they didnt work. So for anyone experiencing this problem(for any program) i advice them to simply re-extract the narc files around 1-3 times, and if it works then u should be fine. if it still doesnt work, then theres some deeper reason for this error.

  5. Can you give me these details:

    - what location you edited last

    - which Pokemon you're trying to add?

    - did you type the name of the Pokemon on the combo box instead of selecting them?

    Need them in order to track the very cause of the bug. And sorry for trouble caused.

    Im sorry i havent responded sooner, been busy.

    -The very last place i tried to edit was Dragon Spiral Tower 2F, although i doubt this singal place caused the problem because it was happening before it. I was trying to edit routes 1-

    18 and Celestial towers floors before dragon spiral tower and from the begining it had the problem although i ignored it not knowing what it meant.

    -The pokemon i was adding depended on the routes, Route 1 i tried adding zigzagoon, poocheyana, ratata, and tailow although the only pokemon i added only show up in some of the spots i added them.

    -I had been typing in the names and then clicking on them to make sure i spelled it correct by seeing if the dropbox recognized the name. if u would prefer a more advance list of the pokemon i was editing feel free to ask although i believe might not have to do with a specific pokemon.

  6. That´s the same message i was getting (but in spanish since my windows is in it) but since he added rom support ive been using it from there and it generates no problems so far, so use rom support instead of narc file editing and you should be fine.

    Just in case if someone is using TwistedFatal´s in-game editor it crashes if you have used wild editor before it, however it works fine if the process it´s done backwards in v1.0.4c ill download V1.0.5 and check if the problem remains there since i believe its the same issue with Kazowar´s B/W Trainer Editor. Anyway i´ll notify this there aswell if it´s not already in there.

    Thanks, but for some reason (I assume when u say rom support you mean the option to edit the rom directly instead of the 6.narc file) i get the same error pop up when i save, this time even before it gives me the option of where i save it.

  7. Okay, I had just extract a clean 6 from Pokemon Black EUR and did these:

    - change all the Vullaby in Victory Road Outside to Rufflet, save the narc to new file (6_2)

    - open the 6_2 (still using first version of the editor), open Route 10 and add in Rufflet and Braviary, and save it as 6_3

    - open the 6_2 (this time using latest v1.0.4c), open Route 10, no problem encountered, so add in Rufflet and Braviary, and save it as 6_4

    - try to open 6_3 with latest version; no problem encountered when loading VIllage Bridge, Route 10, etc, so continue to make change on Route 11 and save as 6_5

    - open 6_4 and followed by 6_5 with latest version, still no problem. Now no more Vullaby to be change to Rufflet, and no more Mandibuzz to change to Braviary.

    Sadly, I'm not capable enough to reproduce the problem and solve it. Sorry for that. If, by any chance, you still continue to use my tool (newer version) to edit a new NARC file and you encountered the error again, please do report here. I'll try my best to solve it.

    Sorry no pics but:

    I have the same problem as wyndamn, but the problem occurs in other ways as well, i also tried checking to see if the file has changed sizes but it is still the same as the original file.

    the pop up that says" Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name:.index" (excluding the "detals" information") This occurs right after i save my NARC file. Also when i "generate" a route it will only show parts of the edited info, for example some pokemon slots will be empty, usually the ones i edited, and some will sometimes be unable to be edited or selected.
