Thanks for the help!!! I'm not too worried about how legitimate it looks; considering I am only using it ingame, and with friends; not over wifi. I appreciate all the words of advice, and will take everything stated into my mind. I think I am going to just create a level one Snivy NOT in an egg; considering it seems like "bad" eggs are what really messes the game up.

I created a contrary Snivy egg in the last slot of Box 16; female, has a few moves, IV'd for Hidden Power Ice, etc... When I pull it out and hatch it, going to look at the pokemon's information will cause the game to freeze and crash every time, so I released it. Is there a way around this? Will I receive this problem if I just put the POKEMON itself in the box rather than the egg?
