Alright so my only question is, are we supposed to use the PID then? I've been using it this whole time... D: but someone on this thread said don't use it? /Confuzzled.

Also how can I check if my Pokemon are legit?

If Pokemon IVs are not linked to PID then could you use ARdsi to make Pokemon have perfect IVs w/o making it not look legit? Also how do i make a pokegen file an AR code?

Export what code? I feel dumb, but I'm running into two issues: Csn I use AR to get secret ID? If not, how go I get this? My second question is how do I use AR to get the Pokemon file to the game? Idk what exporting a code means. And sorry I'm not trying to sound like I'm not even looking this stuff up; it's just im at work ATM on my phone.Any help you guys can give me now is greatly appreciated. ANd the guide on what to do on pokegen was a godsend. Also what I meant is I have a code for all 31s IVs; since IV isn't linked to PID; couldn't I use that code w/o making them look illegal

If PID is not caculated through IVs...couldn't you use an AR to change IVs?

Alright so I seem to be grasping it, but how do you get the pokegen Pokemon file to the DS? Also, can you use AR to find secret ID. My bad read your post below...where can I find out how to do the transfer? So I've read IVs and PID are not linked in B/W..so couldn't AR change those w/o being noticeable?

So what you're saying is, it makes legit Pokemon, but not 100% legit(because obviously it's not) But you're the only one who knows it's not...

I kinda get most of it, except how to get the secret trainer ID, and how to get the Pokemon from computer to the DS catridge...

^ So what's the point in using Pokegen over ARDSI, if both are illegal and look illegal. I thought Pokegen could create legal-looking Pokemon?

Sorry if this is unnecessary thread, or I'm coming off stupid, but I have a few questions I'd like to post before I leave to go to work.

A) what is the difference between Pokegen and Pokesav, and which is better?

B) Does Pokegen work on Black/White?

C) Can I make legit pokemon with this? I recently have been using ARDSI to make perfect Pokemon, not realizing it doesn't cover it's tracks(Changeing PID), thus making them illegal. I'd like legal Pokes, I just don't have time to breed....

D) Where to i start learning this? I haven't had time to look on sight, so forgive me for ignorance.

I have a few questions regarding the legality of things:

1) When changing IVs, does that show up or no? Like do you need Pokesav to legally change IVS

2) Nature mod code a few pages back, it works but the stats don't change. Does it just make it so when you level up you get a different boost? Because if so, I could see that making Pokemon look wrong. Like if you turned a lv50 Celebi from Serious to Jolly, half it's base stats are messed up. Meh.

What I want to know is can I breed for the right nature/gender/ability, and then use AR to legally alter Ivs?

*these use the same 'mark pokemon for effect' mechanic, and they do work perfectly*

English versions of these (Found them, lol) + a nature changing code if it is possible.

Oh, and a code for perfect IVs on a random encounter.

I found on this site codes for changing marked pc box pokemon's ivs (you do one at a time), but it's for jp and I doubt it'll work on US ;/

Here are some things I need cleared up please:

A) What's the basic game code (like when you enter in a new game, the code for the us game)

B) Code for catching Pokemon with perfect IVs

C) Code for altering IVs to 31s (via marking them in box, there are codes for this in the JP version, so... D:_
