    Create Event WiFi

    Not sure how feasible this is, since I've never experienced an event. I think I'm right in saying that event items/pokémon are distributed by a WiFi network?

    If this is correct, then is there any possibility to create a "fake" server using a PC and connect a DS to it via WiFi to simulate an event, and hence gain an event pokémon on the game?

    Sorry if this has been suggested before or isn't possible, it's just an idea that hit me :)
