Yeah, for those wondering about saves and new patches, just rename the ROM instead of the save file, much easier. Just take out the extension the patch adds.

Yep. Same thing with using action replay to catch trainers pokemon, except that's a lil different...just generalized in the bad messages is what I mean. Says you have no pokemon left and lost money. lol

Yes, but you cannot reach the gates until you beat the 8th gym. Only on red, blue and yellow of the gameboy color, advance, etc. could you reach the gates, but of course, couldn't pass till badges are obtained.

So in this case, the guard being able to tell you you don't have one is basically an anti-walk-through walls effort.

Hm...the text where it says you don't have a badge doesn't seem to belong. Since you CAN'T get to the elite 4 without all 8 badges to begin with. Only by cheating..

Nevermind, I had posted that it worked but it just seems that save states in desmume mess the code up a little..

Hm...no luck again. Ah well, I hope you get to testing it soon then. I might as well mess with the code myself, but I'm unsure what I'm doing...haha.

Not working as in the code does nothing. The trainer deflects the pokeball. The game im playing is pokemon black, by the way.

May I request the "Catch trainer's pokemon V1" code be fixed? It only catches the first pokemon that ever came out, not the one you specifically choose. So I ended up catching all the wrong pokemon from the trainers, like one had a kibago i tried to catch...got some junk instead.

Hm..another important thing. When a pokemon flinches, let's say from fake out. It says your pokemon won't listen, instead of that it flinched.

Make sure the rom name is the exact same as the save file name excluding extensions.

For Example:

pokemon.sav <--- This is the japanese name of the save you had originally.

pokemon_patched.nds <--- New name patched. Just take out _patched and it should look like this:

pokemon.nds

If that isn't it, wait for a new update on the patch since they may fix the issue if its there.

I think we aren't supposed to ask that question...but to answer, even the ones actually working on translating the game won't know till its done.

If its freezing it's probably because you've input the wrong game id, since the patched rom has a different one. It should be in the first post if I'm not mistaken.

If that's not the issue, well I can't help, sorry.
