A quick question, is the Game ID the same as previous versions?

After you have it patched, are you using the "File Name_patched.nds" file?

If so, set your ingame options to English. (Options, 5th down, Left Side)

Yeah, I already have it at those settings as well. I have some things in English, just not story stuff.

Edit: Sems that changing it to Kanjii and back fixed it.

I'm having a problem with the patch, I patched the game, and the size of the game didnt change and when I play it theres pretty much no translation

Same here for me. I checked in known translated parts from the text, but it still wasn't translated there for me.

Haven't seen an answer to the question yet, so I'll ask it too.

Are you guys going to use the full story translation that someone released?

Ah, well there's your problem, I tried it with an old save file and yes, it crashed me whenever I changed the screen even after renaming the file. When I tried loading everything straight from the ROM itself(saving with the "Save" option, not saving the state) it works fine. Hope that helps.

And for the people crashing during evolution, its a known issue which is being looked into.

Alright, I'll try this along with Chocos Kana and Kanji method.

I tried entering buildings in the first town and I was just fine along with messing with the C-gear.

You must of done it wrong because it translated the attacks, items, and some other stuff, look here for a picture:

Thats what I thought, not quite sure where I went wrong though. Patched it with GUI, renamed save to (filename)_patched.nds, and opened them up in Desmume

What exactly is translated in the patch? I know the post said everything in the git, but if that were so, all the stuff in the screenshots should be present, mine only has the credits line and the introduction part. Attacks and descriptions are Jap.

Not complaining, just seeing if I'm door something wrong.
