I load it in from the encounter database, so it's all legal then. Soon as I hit the shiny button it becomes illegal and tells me 'Invalid: Static Encounter shiny mismatch.'

To you and whoever is having an issue comprehending how the game registers the shiny legendaries let me try and clarify a bit. For starters, lets talk about the PID. On the very first screen of PKHex, there is an option to create the pokemon Shiny and next to that is the pokemons PID. To the right of the PID, is an option to reroll the PID. The game only allows the dynamax adventure Legendary pokemon to be forced shiny with a value of XOR = 1. So what you have to do is keep rerolling the Shiny PID until you have a XOR = 1 value. I should also note, they must be Star Shiny, not the Square shiny.

Example:

Xor = 6 Value flagged as incorrect

Xor = 1 Value is the only one the game accepts.

I tried to unlock all of the legal clothing for females, and it sort of worked: it gave me a bunch of clothes with new colors that weren't in S/M (the clothes themselves were) along with some new clothes with the same colors, but it deleted my special clothing, such as the Pikachu outfit and Skull Tank, and I also didn't get the Nurse outfit/Trial Guide outfit/etc.

One of the newer builds added fashion support: I tried it out, and I got everything except for the new colored clothes. I then got the very latest build (a previous build before it said that fashion payloads were updated, I thought this might solve the issue) but the same issue still exists - nothing changed from before. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just wait for a more stable release?

In regards to the shiny Pichu that you can download for preordering a 12th movie ticket, "Pikachu-Colored Pichu," it is now confirmed that it will activate an event when transferred from Platinum to the games. The magazine says, "It looks like having Pikachu-Colored Pichu in your party triggers an event with Notched-Ear Pichu." So the Pichu will definitely be a special one, like the movie Regigigas, which unlocked the caverns of the other Regis in Platinum. This information also confirms that the Notched-Ear Pichu will be in the games and is not just a movie-exclusive character. Considering that the event takes place in Ilex Forest, and this is just speculation, one of the Pichu might have something to do with the GS Ball.

The Arceus box in the scans is just showing its different PokeDex entries in Diamond and Pearl. It also says that in Platinum, you can hear the legend of Arceus from a hiker in the Oreburg Mine when you trade over the Arceus you get from the movie download. Like the shiny Pichu, the Arceus is special too in that it unlocks something.

Other scenes from the magazine show Team Rocket, the 3D scene where you pick your starters, the Slowpoke Well, and the outside of Kurt's house.

This sounds like it will be great! A skateboard? How does that work is it the new bike? You listed boy/girl choice twice. 4800 yen is about $40USD right? Can't wait for the game hope Kanto is in the game.

From what I can tell, the Skateboard has been the original design for the bike in Gold/Silver (1999). I guess they dropped that idea and kept the Bike. I wonder though, can it still be accepted in the cycling road...

In Pokemon Platinum, in your Villa, when cynthia comes and visits, she hints at her house being a secret and it's not even in the same region. Could it be hinting at Johto? Nah, possibly hinting at Generation 5 most likely.

Aren't we all forgetting about what this means, rather that bark about it being level 100? It finally means we can legitimately capture all 493 pokemon! I don't know about you, but I'm almost finished collecting on my Pokemon Platinum.

No one is even giving the Pichu a mention. It would seem according to some pokemon fan sites, the moveset for the Pichu was slightly mistranslated. The move Charm was misinterpreted. It's supposed to be Endure. Thought I'd clear that up.
