Hmm... I'd rather stick with the DS, when I can actually afford to buy the game.
But recently I've started using an emulator a lot. You can get through games much more quickly using it, since you can speed it up.

I'd go with Totodile. I always pick the water pokemon as a starter for any gen... for no particular reason.

Hi everyone. I'm Steve. A few people might know me slightly already... I've started going to the Shoddy server a lot.
Anyway, a bit about me...
I own a well established pokemon community, based around the program "Pokemon NetBattle". I'm not gonna hand the link out here, since I guess that would be advertising. The program Pokemon NetBattle was handed over to me by it's owner, Ian. A guy called Bayleef got his hands on the source code, added D/P, and took the project over from there. I'll eventually add the link to my profile, once the User CP starts working for me. By the way, for any administrator interested, I'm getting this error:
vBulletin MessageYour submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Anyway, I'm not really interested in competitive pokemon battling anymore. I very rarely battle. I do sometimes play the pokemon games, though. Currently I'm running the most popular server on NetBattle.
I'm interested in computer related stuff... plus I'm quite sporty too. I'm interested in programming, at the moment I can program almost perfectly in Visual Basic 6 (I hate .NET...), and I'm learning C++. If I get the grades I want, I'm going on to do an IT course in college, where I'll also get more experience at programming.
Anyway, hi.
