Nevermind I think I got it

Firstly I plugged in my game cart after pulling out my ar and it said unknown game. After that do I just load my pokesav code onto the ar, activate it and it will edit my game save? I guess Im asking is how do I make my ar recognize the game?

Oo so the AR dsi just isnt the right way to hack atm. Ok that makes me not feel as crappy. I had a AR ds, but it got lost in the move to college.

This might not be the right place to ask, but its the most fitting I could find. I recently bought an AR dsi, for use with my soul silver. I finally through much trial got the game to actually show up in the menu and was able to copy my pokesav file over to the cart. After applying the code in game I received a bad egg. Going through the edit I wrote I couldnt find any mistakes that would lead to the bad egg but still it persists. If anyone knows how to fix this or can just point me to a decent tutorial for the dumb I would be very appreciative Thanks
